History

Connect North America Corporation, a leading provider of customized customer relationship management (CRM) solutions, was incorporated in 1992 with the creation of an inbound center located in St. Stephen, New Brunswick.
Connect is a privately owned company that was an early provider of quality outsourcing for medium to large sized companies. Connect grew by working with large telecom companies in the United States and Canada, in addition to servicing companies in the fields of banking, investments, and credit cards, as well as government departments.
Connect established an exemplary track record with providing inbound services resulting in expansion to provide outbound teleservices to its clients. As the demand for additional outbound teleservices increased Connect expanded in February 2002 by opening a dedicated outbound contact center in the capital city of Fredericton, New Brunswick.
Initially the Fredericton location operated with forty eight (48) workstations. From January 2002 to March 2004 this center expanded quite rapidly to its existing size of one hundred and seventy (170) workstations. The addition of a further thirty six (36) stations will be completed in 2007. The Fredericton site employs over three hundred (300) people and it consistently number one in all its campaigns.
In March 2005 Connect established a center in Bathurst by acquiring Stellaris Communications Inc. which operated a call center in Bathurst for many years. When this business was acquired its employment level was 36 and the center has now grown to over 100 employees! This location in Bathurst can provide both inbound, outbound and blended services and has a full roster of bi lingual reps on staff. The Bathurst site has 64 seats and the site has been extensively upgraded thru computer hardware and software improvements. The Bathurst operation is currently operating with several successful campaigns and research projects including the highly sophisticated marketing of fiber optic services for a major telecommunications company in the United States.
In November of 2006, Connect acquired the former MBNA site in Presque Isle, Maine. This site is now fully operational and has a growing work force. The site in Presque Isle has already been awarded 3 campaigns from our clients and the site is fully expected to grow to its full potential of 175 seats.
The company has successfully continued to grow through:
- A skilled management team that ensures the operations of the company are efficiently managed.
- Focusing on updating and utilizing the latest leading edge technology available,
- Having a strong team of system analysts that can provide quick turnaround times on client request including overnight programming that can ensure end of day changes can be implemented for first thing the following day.
With a continued focus on our clients and ensuring that all needs are met promptly and performance goals exceeded, Connect ensures to continue to lead the industry with regards to quality and performance in the outbound teleservices industry.
